A hundred years from now there won’t be one sad f*** to look at any of this. What keeps you going?

Taken with the 100mm f/2.8 macro. Not my lens but something I should probably start seeking. It’s a whole different way of seeing the world; of composing; of processing.

  1. I love when macro shots focus on something other than the obvious. For me it really brings in the viewer, more so than a direct image of the subject. This one in particular really does speak to me and the colors are especially complimentary to one another. Love this shot!

  2. As I am a poor student now…I will bookmark the page and save for the print, so I guess that looking forward to deciding where the colorful frowning sharp-teeth fishy shall be wryly placed in my small geometric blue haus is an experience worth moving towards… really in quasi seriousness, I only think of the “hundred years from now” as a hope the men and women who have access to horrifying brutal weapons decide to not use the deadly technology. As to the underlying reason behind this post; thank you for such beautiful well crafted captured moments…the grace and skill in your work is a joy to discover!
